The Malone Chamber can sit a 15 person Board of Directors as well as an Executive Director and Assistant who run day-to-day operations.

Our current Board is comprised of eight directors.

Barry Armstrong, President

A retired teacher, Barry has performed in and organized various community events such as the Winter Carnival Revue, Krebashia Kingdom (a medieval Fantasy Faire,) Mystical Forest River Walk, and Franklin County Has Talent, serves on several other boards such as Foothills Art Society, Malone Revitalization Foundation, Ekrub Players and Sensational Ltd. When he’s not traveling with family or volunteering around town, he can be found with the love of his life, sitting in their garden by their little brook, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. ​

Kathy Almond, Secretary

Kathy owns her own business, Kathy's Treasure.  She sells exquisite jewelry made of Swarovski crystals.

Kim Duffey, Director

Retired Professor of Business and Department Chair from NCCC, Malone campus, Kim has a background in law, government administration, entrepreneurship and teaching.  ​Married to an artist entrepreneur for 30 years, she is active in a variety of local organizations, including the FAS,  the Chateaugay Revitalization Committee, and American Legion Auxiliary. ​​

Nine years with Keybank as Branch Manager; Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Business/Hotel Management/Marketing.  Malone is my hometown & means family; I wanted to make an impact on the community.  I have spent many days celebrating this community.  Malone has been a staple of friendship, support and caring and I love the four seasons & the events that come with it.

Lynn Hosler, Director

​Lynn Hosler was born in Malone and is married with 5 grown children. She and her husband took the “East End Diner” and established it as “Hoslers Restaurant and Bar” where they have operated to serve the community good old-fashioned food from breakfast to evening repasts. After a devastating fire, the Hoslers rebuilt the place with a larger footprint and updated amenities. Recently, the Hoslers sold the restaurant and will pursue a long-awaited retirement. Noted for her community involvement and good will, Lynn and her family have donated their time and treasure to community causes from golf jamborees to hockey tournaments to veterans issues. With the catering and bar service the restaurant could provide, Lynn and her family have hosted tournaments, class reunions, anniversary and birthday dinners, trivia nights and community events - handling over 300 wedding receptions alone. Lynn says succinctly: I am most proud to serve the people of this beautiful area and bring ideas to the Chamber of Commerce to spotlight and enhance the fabric of the community of Malone
