President
Dramatic Beads Education & Work Experience: (St. Lawrence University) BA - Spanish & History, MA - Education, MA - Education/Supervision 33 years teaching Spanish with Malone Central Schools. Retired, community volunteer. Why I joined the Chamber: "I believe the Chamber can make a difference in the future growth of Malone. Growth not only means business prosperity, but making Malone a destination." What does Malone mean to you?: "Malone is my home and I want it to be a safe place that supports the well being of its citizens. It has impressive architecture and history, and to maintain its health takes work. I'm willing to work for it." |
Vice President
Foothills Art Society A teacher by day, Barry has performed in and organized various community events such as the Winter Carnival Revue, Krebashia Kingdom (a medieval Fantasy Faire,) Mystical Forest River Walk, and Franklin County Has Talent, serves on several other boards such as Foothills Art Society, Malone Revitalization Foundation, Ekrub Players and Sensational Ltd. When he’s not traveling with family or volunteering around town, he can be found with the love of his life, sitting in their garden by their little brook, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. |

Education & Work Experience: Flight Attendant, Delta Airlines. President, IBC. Why I joined the Chamber: " I recently returned and started operating a business in the area. I wanted to become more connected to the community, and was very impressed with the work I observed the Chamber doing to revitalize the area." What does Malone mean to you?: Malone means home and my personal roots. It is also a robust and unique area with lots to offer and is poised for a lot of growth. |
I’m Sheila Hargrave and I was born and raised in Malone. Graduated from Franklin Academy. I worked at SeaComm Federal Credit Union in Massena for 30 years. I retired in 2013 from the Collection Department and moved back to Malone.

Education and Work Experience: I've held positions in retail, food services, community-based agencies, and am a former Malone Chamber employee. I am currently employed at TruNorthern Federal Credit Union.
Why I joined the Chamber: I joined the Chamber because I wanted to make a positive impact in the community that I live and work in. What does Malone mean to you?: Malone means history and hometown to me. The Malone region has enormous potential for growth and revitalization. |

Education & Work Experience: (Plattsburgh State) BA - Psychology, (Rollins College) MA - Counseling, (Maimonides University) PhD - Sexology Executive Director - Women's Center Brevard County, Florida. Adjunct Professor - Human Services, Eastern Florida State College. Retire therapist with the Women's Center. Volunteer with the Foothills Art Society. Why I joined the Chamber: "To become more involved in the Malone community and to help with the revitalization and renaissance of Malone." What does Malone mean to you?: "A great place to call home." |

What does Malone mean to you?: Malone means opportunity. There is so much opportunity for growth, for becoming part of something larger, and for showcasing each other’s skills and talents. It is the type of town where I am proud to be raising my children. |
Managing Director - Targeted Victory
Education & Work Experience: St. Lawrence University 2006 graduate. More than 17 years working in Advertising/Sales/Marketing Operations. Expertise with: Associations/Non Profits, Advocacy and Politics; Local News media; social media for a global audience. Why I joined the Chamber: I have heard so many stories and seen so many pictures of Malone’s historic past. I believe in Malone and our community, and I want to be part of its story, part of its revitalization and part of the town's future. I joined the chamber because I believe the skills I've acquired in my time away from "home" can help change our community's trajectory. What does Malone mean to you?: Malone is where I grew up, a place I felt safe enough to play outside at night. I want that for my child. My husband and I chose to move our family from Virginia to Malone because we truly believe it's the right place to raise our son, be closer to family, and create our own roots and memories. |

Education & Work Experience: In 2022, I graduated from Paul Smiths College with a bachelors degree in Hotel, Resort, and Tourism Management. I have worked in the hotel industry for two years after graduating. Prior to that I have worked in food services, retail, and owned a small business.
What does Malone mean to you?: Malone is a place where I would spend my summers growing up. I was not born or raised in Malone, but living here now for the past few years, I have grown fond of the town and fell in love with way the community is celebrated.
