What is a Chamber of Commerce?
A Chamber of Commerce (also referred to in some circles as a board of trade) is a form of business network, e.g., a local organization of businesses whose goal is to further the interests of businesses. Business owners in towns and cities form these local societies to advocate on behalf of the business community. The chamber of commerce is an organization of citizens who are investing their time and money in a community development program-working together to improve the economic, civic, and cultural wellbeing of the area.
There are two primary functions of a chamber of commerce: first, it acts as a spokesman for the business and professional community and translates the group thinking of its members into action; secondly, it renders a specific product or services type that can be most effectively be beneficial by a community organization and to its members as a whole.
While the chamber may work closely with government, we are not part of government.

We have had quite a few requests for information about the Hometown Hero Flags and reserving space at the Rec Park, so we thought it may be helpful to provide information about who to contact.
The Hometown Hero signs are managed by the Village of Malone. You can contact them at (518) 483-4570. You would also contact the Village of Malone to seek permission to use Arsenal Green Park.
To reserve space at the Rec Park, you should go HERE.
Their summer number seems to be out of service. However, there is an email link on their site.
For anything related to the Franklin County Fair or the Fairgrounds, you may go HERE, or visit them at 606 E Main St, Malone, NY 12953. You can also call them at (518)483-0720, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
