The Driver is responsible for the overall delivery aspect of the business, through delivering quality products and quality service to all Renzi Foodservice customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Obtain and maintain a clean class A commercial driving license.
• Comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Rules & Regulations
• Safely drive company fleet equipment in respect to DOT and company policies and procedures
• Portray a professional image in company-provided uniforms at all times while working for the company.
• Provide the best customer service in a timely and professional manner to all customers.
• Deliver only the best quality products.
• Attend and participate in driver meetings and assigned trainings.
• Use safe and ethical behaviors at all times.
• Responsible for maintenance of equipment or communication of maintenance to Fleet Coordinator.
• Accountable for fueling of equipment.
• Responsible for paperwork and documentation in relation to job expectations.
• Required to comply with technology requirements that ensure efficiency and accuracy of business operations.
• Responsible for cash collection at designated customers.
• Must adhere to GMP and quality procedures, recognizing temperature requirements and good housekeeping of tractors and trailers.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Qualifications:

• Understanding of FMCSR and DOT compliance
• Average degree of computer skills
• Ability to work well with people, strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills
• Communication skills are a must
• Multi-tasked individual
• Ability to work independently and in a team-based atmosphere
• Highly customer focused
• Driven, self-motivated, and always looking for ways to improve on our current efforts
• Ability to think strategically while working tactically, drive projects through completion

**This is a touch-freight driving opportunity. Physical demands include: sitting, standing, walking frequently, the ability to lift/carry 80 lbs and push/pull up to 250 lbs. Trailers are refrigerated and you must be able to tolerate exposure to weather/temperature contrasts.**
